Biography:
Playing music is my passion – I don’t use backing tracks as I feel it is more important to learn how to play your instrument and I don’t wait impatiently after I have played to get paid so I can shoot off immediately – I love talking to the people that I meet on my journey and consider it a privilege to be able to do this My CV is not too bad as I have performed for nearly 20 years playing in pubs, clubs and festivals in England. I had 2 slots at the Maryport Blues festival and have also played at Thimbleberry and Thornborough festivals. I played at Stranraer festival this August which was absolutely brilliant. I have also supported some noteworthy performers over the years which include Greg Wright (one of Micheal Jackson’s lead guitar players), Dave Arcari (cited by Seasick Steve as an amazing performer) & Jacob Golden (who later that tour appeared on Jools Holland). I would currently describe myself as a solo boogie blues guitar man with pounding beats (I like hollow body guitars, old valve amps and slide) and infectious rhythm. I make a big sound for one person and perform songs in the style of Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Johnny Cash, T.Rex, Rolling Stones, Hendrix and Elvis.
